I must confess … a clean oven has never been a priority for me. I have never been a big fan of the self-cleaning oven due to the intense smell. I dreaded using spray-on oven cleaners for the same reason. Thankfully, I stumbled upon an easy method that uses only baking soda, water, and vinegar!
- Remove racks from oven
- Make a baking soda and water paste in small bowl
- Spread the paste on the oven door, walls, bottom using your hands or a basting brush
- Let stand for 3 hours
- Spray with vinegar to moisten
- Scrub with abrasive pad
- Use paper towels to remove
- Wipe out oven with wet rag
